Removal of Ammonia Nitrogen from Digested Sludge
Anaerobic processes for sludge digestion often have problems with ammonia nitrogen "overloads".
Recently a new revolutionary process has been implemented to convert organic sludge to odorless fertilizer. In this process Ammonia removal from digested sludge is crucial. To achieve this, different chemical or biological processes can be applied but all of them have several limitation.
Together with our customer, we executed the plant to remove ammonia from sludge by our thin film stripper and ammonia absorber.
Special features- Stripper based on modification of Thin film evaporator: it works without heating
- Special high efficient ammonia absorber
- Low energy consumption.
- Compact design
- High efficiency
- Scaling-less
